Yeah and instead of doing some last minute script tweaks that Vince is famous for, him and the rest of creative decided to not bother the one time where it would have actually made a ton of sense to do so.

Cutler and not Ryker being the first one released from the Forgotten Sons feels a bit messed up.

Not only did Ryker and his online controversies cause the whole group to get punished, he somehow managed to remain mostly unaffected in terms of status and creative direction unlike the other two when they all returned back to WWE television.

Turns out the reason for Steve Cutler's release is due to him contracting COVID last month and Vince being pissed off over it enough that led to him being fired yesterday.

Even worse is the rumor of Vince got pissed Cutler's girlfriend revealed it publicly on social media while WWE much rather wants those who test positive to keep quiet unless they get permission.

They've been more petty over that situation happening than bothering to combat the COVID deniers in the company or doing a better effort enforcing their COVID policies to stop having outbreaks almost every month.
