WWE started doing that either late last year or earlier this year.

The idea being WWE wanted to use Saturdays for specials like Starrcade while TakeOvers got elevated to main roster PPV status for Sundays whenever NXT wasn't piggybacking on WWE PPV weekends.

Those WWE Network specials on Saturdays were also meant to piggyback on Sunday TakeOver events prior to the coronavirus pandemic messing up WWE's plans.

GCW's Slime Season show ended up being pretty enjoyable although also might have had the worst production for a GCW show I've ever seen.

Constant audio issues from start to finish with the commentary mics and show audio in general.
