Chyna was supposed to beat Mankind for the WWE Title at SummerSlam '99, but Triple H was slated to win it at Survivor Series and did not want to have to beat his GF for it. McMahon did not want two WWE Title changes between SSlam and SSeries, so he jobbed Chyna to Mankind on RAW and put her in the IC scene.

So he wanted more than two title changes in between?

Mankind won at SSlam, HHH won the next night on RAW, Vince won it on SD, HHH won it back at Unforgiven, and Show won it at SSeries.
