I was thinking about this the other day. The more this has storyline has been going, the more I think creative has zero direction or no clue how this is going to end.
It's like, who's really "the guy". First we thought it was going to be Bryan, then it shifted to Big Show, now we're on Cena. And what was being drawn up as a title reign for Bryan is now a title belt unification. I'm down for the insubordinate employee vs. management angle. (See Austin vs. McMahon, Orton vs. McMahon) where it's just built around 1 guy. But these past few months, I'm lost. So I guess to answer the question, Steph coming back on TV and looking good is the only one who's gotten something out of this. |
