Ascension wins the tag titles. I want to like these guys, I really do, but they haven't been built up very well in the stuff I have seen. Something about them seems just "off", but they def have potential as a team.

RVD next week? Ugh.

Oh my god. Emma & Santino need to be together on the main roster. Their chemistry is incredible and some of these moments are brilliant. The high five tags, the dive for the tag and Emma not being there, getting dragged away by Fandango and yelling "EMMMAAAAAA".

I love this match so much. Only thing it was lacking was Joey Styles yelling "CAAAAAATTTFIIIGGGHHHT" when Emma and Summer were rolling around.

Santino and Emma were pretty hilarious together. Renee Young was fun on commentary too. "I hope you guys don't rub off on me."

Kassius Ohno has got all the tools, but for some reason they just seem like they're not being focused right. Luke Harper is pretty good, but I would like a reason to care about him and not just because of his allegiance to Bray Wyatt.

Mojo Rawley seems like he could be fun. Let's give him a chance. Enzo and Big Cass's backstage segment was fun.

The Ascension winning the Tag Team Titles makes sense, but I get the complaints about them. I don't look forward to seeing them like I do many other acts in NXT. Didn't the spoilers say that Corey Graves attacked Adrian Neville after the match? They didn't show that, so I'm thinking that Neville & Graves may stay together as a babyface team.

Bo Dallas is good in his current role. I loved the "Let's go this guy" chants. I hope they bring him into NXT as "This Guy" and see how far they can get with it. Antonio Cesaro and Leo Kruger cancelling each other out worked, and I'd like to see a match between the two. Heel vs. heel has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. People say it doesn't work, but I love the idea of two bad guys beating the crap out of each other to find out who is the supreme evil. This end segment also built for Dallas vs. Sami Zayn quite effectively. Nothing wrong with it at all.

Pretty cool match with Cesaro/Kruger. No idea if Kruger is supposed to be a face/heel (he seems to switch every other time I see him, and the cheer everything but Bo Dallas NXT fans don't help), but Kruger comes out of that looking good too, just by lasting as long as he did against the onslaught of Cesaro.

I know Paige has this "anti-diva" gimmick, but she seems like she would be so much better if she was just.... I dunno.... more "relaxed" and more "herself". She seems kind of "fun-loving" and "goofy" judging solely based on pictures of her I have seen, and that one vid with Bayley.

Tag match didn't really get a lot of time to shine, but I love most of these guys and see big potential for them all. Exception is Big Cass. Jury is still out on him. Not sure how well he'd do without Enzo by his side.

Antonio Cesaro is the fucking best. Loved the story he and Leo Kruger told. Leo literally turned face during the course of the match by showing heart and standing up to the onslaught of Cesaro. It would make sense to continue their rivalry with Kruger hunting Cesaro.

Santana Garrett impressed me. I'd like to see her offered a contract and given a shot on the roster, but she seems like such a babyface. Charlotte, despite being a face because she's Ric Flair's daughter, actually seems like she'd be a better fit as a heel. Have her turn on Bayley once they lose a match to the BFFs. Paige & Emma teaming up to face the BFFs is interesting, but I think the tension between the two is sort of forced. It should really blow up on them next week, with Paige perhaps getting frustrated and having the stake in her Women's Championship (to which Emma is the #1 Contender for) affect her mindset for the match. Not a heel turn (Paige is too awesome to get properly and consistently booed at the moment), but for the sake of the dynamic of the pending Paige vs. Emma match.

Danny Burch is such a hooligan. I didn't really get into Mojo Rawley. He's a beast of an athlete and has charisma, but just how he was put together seemed a bit wrong.

Aiden English is glorious. He should be called up to the main roster to be aligned with Damien Sandow immediately.

Laughing FULL SPOILERS FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS
Next weeks show was already taped from the last batch, so this is for the week after AND BEYOND

SPOILER: show
We open with Sweet T on commentary to start with Tom Philips and Alex Riley, who has a comedically simple video entrance (only his name).

Slate Randall will be going against Yoshi Tatsu in the opening contest, which is probably a dark match. Tatsu is pretty dominant in the early goings, but Randall gets a quick rollup when Tatsu goes for a Tajiri-esque buzzsaw kick.

Corey Graves comes out to explain his attack on Adrian Neville. Neville comes out pretty quickly to get the jump on him, and fights him down the ramp to the ring. Back and forth fighting til two refs come break it up. After the separation, Neville launches himself over the top rope onto Graves.

Intro plays.

Out comes Emma, going one-on-one with Sasha Banks (with Summer Rae in her corner). Ratchet chants break out fairly quickly for Sasha Banks. Nice back and forth. A chant for tables breaks out for no apparent reason; the crowd seems more concerned with responding to Summer's yelling than watching the match, which has been a Sasha Banks side headlock for a solid two minutes straight. Emma gains momentum, slaps on her version of the tarantula. Summer Rae with the distraction, Paige comes out to deal with Summer, Sasha wins with a rollup when the ref is done dealing with Paige. Paige gets in the ring and tries to get Sasha while she's running her mouth, but hits Emma with a clothesline when Sasha ducks.

Two jobbers make their standard entrance with little fanfare, up against the new NXT tag champs The Ascension. The jobbers get no offense in whatsoever; a quick wih to establish some credibility for the new tag champs.

CJ Parker dances his way down the ramp holding Tyler Breeze's iPhone. He's set to go one-on-one with Alexander Rusev, whose pre-match routine seems like Fred Flintstone meets HBK. An unknown blonde woman comes out pretty quickly, does a lap around the ring, then heads to the back; neither competitor is noticeably distracted. Parker taps in about 40 seconds to a Camel Clutch in another largely one-sided match. Breeze comes out while Parker is sitting in the ring immobilized, hits a spinning heel kick, and cuts two of his dreads off. Breeze gets his phone back.

Corey Graves comes out to a mixed reaction, and Adrian Neville comes out to cheers. Looks like this will be the main event of the first show. Neville has an early lead, but Graves goes to work on the legs. Couple of submissions I've never seen before, ending with what looks like a modified Figure Four, making Neville tap out. Graves locks the submission in on the ramp while Neville is limping out.

Backstage Fallout with Sami Zayn discussing losing the NXT Title after JBL restarted the match. He wants the belt back. Commercial for Raw, then the Goldberg DVD, then for the Susan G Komen foundation.

William Regal and (I think) Renee Young on commentary as the second show starts with Enzo Amore and Big Cass. They're not pleased with the Legionaires playing dirty. Rusev and Lefort are their opponents. Big Cass is enormous. Rusev goes on a bit of a rampage, knocking over Big Cass, then Enzo, then Lefort. Very quick victory over Big Cass with a Camel Clutch. After the match, the mystery girl from the first taping shows up at the top of the ramp. No words are exchanged, and she follows Rusev to the back.

Jason Jordan makes his way to the ring with a video that consistely solely of him posing in an empty ring. His opponent will be The Artist, Aiden English. He is singing and the crowd is having none of it, but gives him a standing ovation at the end anyway. Jordan mounts an offense for about ten seconds, and then the squash begins; English is confident singing while he has Jordan in a side headlock. Aiden English picks up an easy win, and gives the crowd an encore. Stagehands throw roses into the ring and William Regal gives him a standing ovation.

Summer Rae comes out with Sasha Banks in her corner. She's going one-on-one with the NXT Women's Champion, Paige. Summer Rae outside, Paige tries a baseball slide but Banks moves her out of the way. Sasha Banks grabs Paige's ankle after an irish whip and the ref ejects her. Summer knocks her flat on her back against the ring apron. Fairly competitive match, but Paige hits (what I think was) the Paige Turner and wins it. Sasha Banks comes from the back and ambushes Paige, and Emma is fast behind her. While Emma hammers away on Banks, Paige tries to move her out of the way and gets thrown to the canvas for her troubles. Maybe setting up a Paige vs Emma feud?

Tyler Breeze intro hits and the crowd goes ape shit. He's one-on-one here with CJ Parker, who's out for revenge after Breeze cut off a few of his dreads. Not sure why Parker keeps wiggling his knees while he waits for the match to start but that's neither here nor there. Parker mounts a steady offense but Breeze keeps wiggling out, refusing to let Parker hit him in the face. Parker gets a rather loud "Change Your Gim-Mick" chant, and wins off his weird uppercut thing. After the match, Parker grabs Breeze's scizzors and tries to cut his hair but Breeze escapes. Parker is left dancing in the ring with the scizzors. Looks like that was the main event of the next taping.

JBL does some backstage interview with Renee Young talking about Zayn's suspension(?)

Bo Dallas does a backstage interview saying goodbye to Sami Zayn, and reminding us not to stop Bo-lieving.

Starting the next episode is Sylvester Lefort, counting his money on the way to the ring. He'll be going up against Alexander Rusev. The mystery blonde woman is now announcing Rusev's entrance in what I can only assume is Bulgarian. We still haven't seen them correspond in any way, but there will probably be some vignettes explaining their relationship. Rusev immediately slaps on the Camel Clutch and wins. Looks like Rusev is no longer a part of the Legionnaires.

El Local comes out to some solid applause with a Chimaira cape. Looks like Ricardo Rodriques is set to go one-on-one with Leo Kruger. It's worth mentioning that Kruger has a solid spinebuster. Three snap suplexes and a quick submission hold and El Local taps out.Leo Kruger wins.

Two jobbers sneak into the ring; their names are never announced. The Ascension comes down and makes short work of another tag team after brief confusion about who the legal man is. Jobbers get more reaction than the Ascension; not sure what that's about.

Another jobber sneaks into the ring; no name announcement for this one either. His opponent is Mojo Rawley. He's one of the most-cheered of the night. Less one-sided than the tag match before it, but Rawley pulls out an easy victory nonetheless.

Luke Harper is here! Going up against Kassius Ohno. Among rumors of Ohno needing to hit the gym, he's in fantastic shape. All black ring gear with a small KO! on his elbow pad. Ohno dominant early, solid back and forth. Good to see Ohno back; he can sell with the best of 'em. Harper picks up a win after hitting Ohno with a spinning elbow shot vaguely reminiscent of a Bullhammer Elbow.


Tensai is on commentary with William Regal (and someone else that I can't identify from this distance). Bayley and Charlotte Flair are teaming against Summer Rae and Sasha Banks. Bayley tries to give everyone a headband to wrestle in, and Summer and Sasha are having none of it. The "ratchet" chants aren't going away anytime soon. Bayley's celebrations are costing her momentum, and when she finally gets to Charlotte, she receives a slap in the face for her troubles. Bayley gets hit with some kind of flipping cutter by Charlotte, and Sasha Banks quickly makes the pin. Charlotte joins up with Sasha Banks and Summer Rae after the match, celebrating with them at the top of the ramp.

Camacho comes out to some very stereotypical music, and doesn't look pleased when Aiden English is announced as his opponent. He does his singing thing before the match. I don't think I can remember the last time I saw someone wrestle in khaki pants. Camacho gets some offense, but English quickly reverses into his finisher and picks up an easy victory. Another encore follows, as does another standing ovation from the crowd and William Regal.

Danny Birch comes out to little fanfare, to go up against Mason Ryan. I believe he's been referred to as "The Welsh Batista", and that description isn't too far off. Danny Birch has a lot of solid offense, but as soon as Mason Ryan gets going, it may as well have been for naught. Mason Ryan picks up the easy W.

The following contest is a two-out-of-three falls match. Corev Graves vs. Adrian Neville. After about four minutes of action, Neville hits the Corkscrew Shooting Star Press for the first fall. Graves gets the second fall with his weird Figure Four-esque hold. Neville goes for the Corkscrew SSP again, but falls off the turnbuckle. Graves tries to put his hold on again, but Neville gets to the ropes. When Graves tries to apply the hold a third time, Neville rolls him up for a quick 3-count and grabs the third fall.

The Peep Show is here at Full Sail, and Christian is here to bring out World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio is quick to brag about his Summerslam win, and Christian reminds him that he's set to face the one and only John Cena. Will Del Rio be in the right mindset to defend his title?

Of course he will. He "can beat John Cena any day of the week", just like he can beat Christian any day of the week. Del Rio wants to fight but Christian won't let him change the subject. Christian asks the crowd if they think Del Rio is afraid of Cena, and when they agree, Christian asks if anyone in the locker room agrees. Rusev and his mystery blonde escort come out and run their mouths in Russian and Bulgarian respectively. Rusev says (according to Christian, whose concussion has allowed him to learn multiple languages) that both John Cena and Rusev can beat ADR. Del Rio tries to cheap shot Christian, but he ends up in Rusev's face. ADR sneaks out of the ring but Ricarco runs down the ramp and he ends up throwing Del Rio to Rusev, who knocks him silly. Christian sends the people home happy with Ricardo and Rusev in the ring, but Rusev has the last laugh when he knocks Ricardo flat.


At least Lock Jaw will be bouncing back with some of that after RVD's appearance.

Tensai on commentary could be interesting. He also joined Byron Saxton and William Regal on the last show, apparently. Maybe he will strike oil in the role?
