I found this without searching, just scrolling back through the thread and it so happens somebody else has seen it.

Ossman this is a shameful review. I hope you were just in a bad mood. This film does not venerate its protagonist, it creates a path of opportunity for him to remember his numerous massive indiscretions and debts. It is almost a psychological thriller in that you just keep watching things get worse until the realisation sets in and all is doomed. He is a bad guy who has no idea about it, it is a fucking masterpiece.
