In the meantime, with Buck the First hurt, I have Omega fire Callis (because he should be able to watch the TV show). Omega and Page form a tag team. Buck the Second becomes an occasional partner and New Japan lend for Hiromu. Callis becomes the new manager for The Gunn Club (a mark for the champs and guys who will take Cyrus to back them).
Omega/Page, The Gunns and FTR become the new tag team division anchors. Mox and Claudio initially get added in. Maybe you do Kingston/Yuta as a tag team, because TK isn’t going to want to drop Yuta. In this scenario, Mox backs Claudio over Kingston. This breaks up the BCC and I guess Kingston is out of Punk/Mox/Kingston, but Claudio takes his place.
The Acclaimed stick around, but maybe pick up Paul Wight as an occasional third. He can work with Omega now (which is bizarrely fascinating). They don’t need to turn heel, but with so many top face teams and their journey to the top being done already, they could get an edge to themselves frustrated about all these sudden pairings and FTR and Omega/Page being star face teams against each other. But they always hate The Gunns, etc.
This could also be a strategic way to put Omega/Page (and Blank Jackson) in the ring with guys like FTR to dial in them in. Eventually the other Buck comes back and joins the fray. They hopefully produce the best work of their careers, which Jim Cornette gives credit to, which helps alter perception of them (because he is influential).
The big stories over 2023 are MJF as World Champion, eventually foiled by a conspiring Punk no longer trying to be the good guy — although he might be in his own mind; and a tag team scene that is bolstered by Omega/Page entering the fray and working alongside FTR which can lead to all sorts of singles pairings too.
