Pretty sure Punk has also talked about talking to WWE at their behest months prior to this but ultimately not liking what they had to say. His agent then reaching out months later and Vince being like “Fuck it. Can’t work with him.” isn’t really the “gotcha” you (and soon Derpfect) think it is.

Of course you’ll say Punk’s lying and Meltzer knows all until he doesn’t when he says something that doesn’t fit your narrative. No end in sight here.

Maybe we can discuss this all on that podcast RTD has suggested and screech has agreed to help produce. I understand your hesitation because it will require you to have original thoughts not supplied by your Circle Jerk/Smart People Forum but I’m down!
Vince brought back Hogan, Warrior, Goldberg, Austin, Lesnar, Bruno, Bret etc etc after all of them either got into with him, or walked out on him. But we’re at to expect him to not have any interest in Punk if Punk were to call and say he’s interested in coming back? I’m so sure lol. Vince can very petty but if there’s money to be made he’s going to bury the hatchet if means making that money.

WWE is the epitome of never say never. Wendi Richter came back for the hall of fame, for fuck’s sake.
