Apparently the stuff with O'Reilly after NXT's show was either just a messed up idea someone had in NXT Creative or people being completely fooled by his sell job based on the way he was unresponsive and his history with diabetes issues or both.

O’Reilly is fine and he was just selling the closing angle on NXT.
The angle led to many people on the internet speculating that the incident was because O’Reilly has Type 1 Diabetes. I was told that they didn’t even anticipate that people would think it had to do with that. This was simply a case of WWE running an angle, but speculation ran rampant on social media after photos were leaked.

The fan noted that after hitting the steel steps at ringside during the main event angle, O’Reilly appeared to be knocked out until a ringside medic came over and had to wake him up. It was noted that O’Reilly’s condition looked “pretty bad” and it was also said that he suffered a seizure, but the seizure has not been confirmed. The fan added that the incident was scary to see as O’Reilly had to be waken up by the medic.
