I'm actually coming around to this point. I was never a big fan in NXT (always thought that Becky got short-changed in her potential program with Sasha), but assumed that the gimmick could do no wrong in people's eyes.

It's like the lyrics without the music; the synopsis without the story. If I were a Bayley fan, I'd be extremely frustrated right now. But there is the possibility that she has just been exposed. Her promo skills have always been...questionable; and when she's not being led through a match that has had careful laying out, maybe she's just not that fucking good in the ring?

I kind of feel like a lot of the women are like cover bands that know how to play a set-list of certain songs, but when people start coming up to make requests, they really don't know how to play anything else. And that doesn't even extend to whether or not they can read music or write their own songs.

They market this as a "Revolution," but two of the best female wrestlers they have are sitting backstage, probably because they are either "too old" or "too ugly," because at the end of the day, the division is still about this:
