The problem with AJ being a heel is that he is more popular than the faces when he's in the role. I'm sure it will allow him to be an even better performer, but I'll be surprised if they can keep him booed for a whole calendar year.
Ric Flair has been one of the most entertaining things about WWE television recently for me. I think it makes sense to have him out there and cause distractions that allow Dana to get physically involved.
