The problem would be if WWE (Vince) believes he has it in him. All the potential in the world isn't going to mean squat if a) he gets the "we're bored now" treatment and taken off of tv, jobbed to hell, or both, b) he gets saddled with some dumbass, unsalvagable gimmick or angle that is a total dead-end, or c) he remains as-is, with no feuds or adversity to help advance some kind of character... which actually is a combination of a and b.

Remember the company philosophy; if he's over, it's because WWE made him. If he fails, it is totally 100% his fault for not connecting with fans.
