We previously reported that former WWE Superstar and current AAA star Alberto Del Rio had reached a settlement with WWE regarding his non-compete clause in his contract.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting both sides came to an agreement on several terms, including Alberto saying he wouldn’t sue the company, and he won’t make anymore negative comments about WWE in the media. This includes Alberto’s recent accusations of racism in WWE, which were also recently echoed by Myzteziz, formerly known as the ‘original’ Sin Cara in WWE.
In return, Alberto reportedly received a financial settlement from WWE in addition to his non-compete being dropped, leaving him free to pursue other outside bookings. This settlement apparently came at the last minute, and it was believed at one point that WWE might even be asked to issue an apology for inappropriate comments made by company employees. Apparently Alberto had already agreed to parts of the written settlement agreement regarding the financial issues and non-compete status so he didn’t push the apology.
WWE has been worried about keeping their Hispanic audience, and officials wanted to take care of things with Alberto so they wouldn’t be tied to any claims of racism against Hispanics.

Regarding Tyson Kidd’s push on the midcard, he’s been working elements into his gimmick that are inspired by friend and controversial indie star Teddy Hart.
Triple H is reportedly high up on the gimmick. With that and Total Divas producers high on segments with Kidd and Natalya, it’s expected that Kidd’s push will continue at least into the next season.

On a related note, Vince McMahon has reportedly “been over” the current storyline with The Bella Twins, but it’s there to help co-promote Total Divas.

While multiple sources have reported that Cesaro did not receive backstage heat from his recent interview comments about John Cena vs. Randy Orton, his recent booking has some people thinking otherwise within WWE.
Some of those same people questioning how Cesaro is being booked feel that the roster is short on heels and Cesaro should be used to make an impact.
On a related note, Cesaro was put through concussion testing after needing staples in the head last week. He obviously was cleared.

Ring Of Honor officials confirmed that the Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly IWGP jr. tag title defense against Alex Shelley & Kushida, Rocky Romero & Alex Koslov and Young Bucks match will be on the U.S. version of the PPV.
As of a few days ago, the match had been planned as a dark match before the U.S. version of the show started due to ROH not signing off on the deal

ROH management backed off on their no ROH stars stance for the US feed because of GFW running it. In terms of US stuff, the ban on ROH wrestlers showing up for PWG events starts next year.
