That may be true, but it misses the point (granted, Smelly Meatball's summary sucks and fails to capture the heart of the matter). This is about the purchase of games designed for the Ooooooooooo-yeah! This was a selling point to consumers and to developers, and has thus far turned out not to pan out. In fact, the fact that people are just playing their already-purchased Android titles might make things worse.

A good chunk of this article is based on the concept of the Ouya's free version model, and how most users have decided to stick with the free versions rather than upgrading to paid versions.
