Most of those games look shite, but I'm usually only in love with one or two of the SoA games each year, too.

2. I'm not shocked 2012 is involved in AC III. Especially since so much of the idea seems cribbed from the Da Vinci Code. Don't take that as a slam, since they did it far better than Dan Brown did.
