I agree with you there. Orton was white-hot and he would be doing almost nothing. He only really turned heel to feud with Daniel Bryan and provide a bad guy with credibility for Bryan to overcome on his way to the top. The only thing is that the WWE forgot that Orton was meant to be credible. In a kayfabe sense, he should still be a fearless killer who is like the #2 guy next to Bryan. He should carry with him the credibility of a super-face, and should only really be a heel because he goes against the people we love.

Fuck, the company could be making so much money out of Orton right now, if only they just stopped shying away from his credibility. If he gets fed-up with The Authority and drops Triple H with an RKO because he won't give Orton his one-on-one title shot, then the place would explode. Follow that up with an RKO for Kane and then an RKO on Seth Rollins who tries to blind-side Orton with a springboard and flies right into it and there's one of your more epic face turns in recent memory.

It's probably Rollins that will do that when he realizes that he won't get his Money in the Bank shot anytime soon and grow disillusioned with the Authority.

Orton has always been light years better as a heel anyways.

Rollins as a performer is someone who could shine better as a face than a heel -- that much I agree with.
