According to Fightful, WWE is currently dealing with a serious case of some within NXT and developmental who still think the coronavirus is just a big hoax and have been spreading conspiracy theories about it there.
Already has led to several other people within NXT becoming very frustrated over what has been going on behind the scenes. |

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the originator of the spread was Drake Wuertz since he's already been involved as the likely source of the QAnon spread within WWE.
David Bixenspan recently uncovered stuff about Wuertz being a very vocal supporter of that group and even tried to get others within WWE to donate to a QAnon associated charity group that's now being investigated for improper finances and impersonating law enforcement. Same dumbass who accidentally provided some very valuable ammo against Riddle and WWE for the current lawsuit by Riddle's accuser. |
Currently watching Bloodsport 3 and a clean shaven Simon Gotch/Grimm somehow is even more weird to see than a clean shaven Tama Tonga.

Feels like I've seen a match or two of this Erik Hammer guy before but can't remember at all. The name sounds very familiar.
He does have a great looking mustache though. Haven't seen a mustache that good in wrestling since the first time I saw The Butcher wrestle at last year's Bloodsport show. |
Filthy Tom Lawlor v. Homicide was very good. Best match on this Bloodsport show so far.

I'm sorry, but I wouldn't exactly say that the screenshots she posted is inappropriate given the nature of their relationship, that being she sells pictures and he asked about buying additional pictures. I really don't like blaming the victim, but does she put every dude that asks her that on blast, or did she do it to him because he is on tv? She even said at one point "You are pretty well known". |
Chris Dickinson vs. Jon Moxley ruled.
Bloodsport 3 was a very fun show overall. That match, the women's tournament in general, and Tom Lawlor vs. Homicide were the best. |

a few thoughts: 1. To its credit, it's one of the few times I have had to question whether something I saw in a wrestling ring is real or not. Because I can't tell if this was a sexual assault or not. And before you say "It's wrestling, of course it isn't." I have to bring up the incidents between Rick Rude and Francine. 2. This had no business taking part in a wrestling event. Full stop. This is wrestling, not porn. I like to keep the two separate. 3. This will be the thing that kills Jim Cornette, should he ever see it. 4. I hope she is of age (US, not Japan). If she isn't we could be seeing the new AEW Women's Champion. 5. Joey Ryan is planning his comeback as we speak. |

Scott Hall should have one too, dude shot a guy in the head in self defence and nobody knew until his career was nearly over. Zumhofe/Sweeten don't deserve episodes for being mucky bastards. Same goes for Grizzly Smith. John Nord should have an episode though. He's completely insane. |

Rock's selling becoming more comical over time was the best part of him taking Stunners back in the day. Him and Scott Hall had the best sells out of everyone who took the move while some of the earlier Stunners to Vince and Sgt. Slaughter were among the worst ever sells. |
Just thought of a cool game for TPWW thinking about how Gerald Brisco was the same age as HHH is now when he was a stooge. Gonna post some old wrestlers next to some newer wrestlers and ya'll gotta figure out who is older based on the pictures.

Not sure since he didn't really interact that much with Austin during his time in WWE and the crazy sell he did at Mania 18 is usually what gets talked the most about their match on the show.
While looking up if there were any gifs of other potential Hall Stunners moments, came across another great Stunner sell from Rusev from Mania 32. https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chor...8997/rusev.gif |

Seems there are growing concerns that GCW's The Collective series of shows this past weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana might have resulted in a new wrestling-related coronavirus outbreak.
Based on social media during the weekend, at least one person did feel ill after attending a show and another person or two puked a lot while attending shows although one might have been more due to drunkenness. |

Despite that clip being one of his weaker efforts because he didn't get Styles to corpse on camera, he's usually very entertaining when it comes to improv style comedy and comedic antics while in a modern WWE setting that doesn't really lend itself to good comedy.
Most of his comedic gold revolves around making something as absurd or ridiculous as possible for some quick dumb laughs. |
Like in don't get why people went wild for the in ring thing he did with Heyman and Lesnar
|
Cuz wrestling fans are lame
|
Probably just for the absurdness of the whole segment involving someone who is a huge goofball and someone who is meant to be like a Final Boss type figure. Everyone knows its going to end with him getting utterly destroyed but the ride to that moment is bound to be full of comedic antics. Crowd gets their moment of laughter and Lesnar gets to add another piece to his aura as the beast of WWE.
Plus Truth is one of the very few genuine lovable stars WWE has on their main roster so crowds just really enjoy seeing him whenever he shows up. |
Unpopular Opinion: Tim Storm is better than Kenny Omega.
|
Unpopular Opinion: Vaseline on toast is better than Kenny Omega.
|
(I don't really mean that. I think Kenny could have been a "star", as big as they can get nowadays anyways by which I mean treated like a big deal for awhile before becoming like anyone else, if he went to WWE instead of sticking around his buddies and being goofy)
|
You have to admit the one I repped you was funny, though.
Honestly, the reason why I say that is thus: Tim Storm is a breath of fresh air compared to these goofy pizza cutter wrestlers who are all edge and no point. His old ass comes across as sincere, and it's a breath of fresh air. |
Jay White is better than Kenny Omega.
|
I laughed at how sad it was that some nobody in his 50s named Tim Storm was NWA champion. Then NWA Power came along and I actually got invested in him. Fuck, I miss that show.
And yeah. Watching just a couple episodes of NWA Power should leave you more interested in Tim Storm than watching every AEW appearance by Omega. |
Love Toni Storm. Brings the physicality and god damn she thiccc
So happy she's back |
You like a big strong woman called Tony aye?

PWI released their Top 100 Women list for this year with Bayley taking the top spot for the first time in her career.
Highest spot AEW got was #6 with Shida and highest spot for non-WWE/AEW women was #7 with Tessa Blanchard. Despite missing almost half the year due to pregnancy, Becky Lynch someone managed to be #2. Quote:

Mayu has literally been carrying stardom on her back amidst all the retirements, COVID issues, and the Hana Kimura tragedy. She should be higher.
|
Maybe if PWI didn't rank their lists very heavily towards the kayfabe side.
Not sure if they even consider any other women's title besides those in WWE, NXT, AEW, and Impact as world tittle tier status. Even PWI's editor admitted Shida would have been ranked higher had they been more fond of AEW's booking for their women's title and division. Booking issues and lack of main event matches for women were their main digs against Shida and AEW's ranking spot. |
Either fan applications for WWE's ThunderDome and Capitol Wrestling Center shows have been declining recently or WWE simply got tired of having to monitor a ton of screens for trouble makers since supposedly NXT's giant video board has been using recorded footage of fan cameras from prior shows.

I haven't seen a full episode of WWE since mania. Just so y'all know where I'm at. Still watching AEW but some of it sucks. I think I'd rather watch 2004 era WWE women than the AEW women, minus Britt Baker who is a gold star. I call for Kenny to get demoted to WRESTLER.
|
The 3 best women's matches in AEW history featured a woman who wasn't in AEW. And one of them was with someone who thought more of herself than necessary.
Side note: can you picture Harley Race not selling for Ric Flair because "He's the Vet?" Another side note: In a professionally run promotion, Ivellise would have been removed from television. In AEW, she got a contract. |
I try not to picture Harley Race.
Ever. |

Watched a couple indie shows lately because we get all the ppvs for free. I noticed something really annoying
What does every match have a shot for shot spot where two guys just stand in front of each other and throw punches. It's so dumb. |
Probably something influenced from Japan considering NJPW and other Japanese promotions do the back-and-forth chop and elbow strike spots regularly during matches as a rest break style spot.
|
It's just so silly. Why would you just stand there and let your opponent knock the shit out of you. And EVERYBODY does it.
|
If I had to guess, just a modern version of the classic tough man or test of strength spot to show the crowd how tough both guys are.
Like back in the day when you'd have two muscular guys grapple and each would try to push the other guy back or make their opponent drop to his knee as a show of strength. |
Over the past few months, I’ve been noticing that certain professional wrestlers are spewing misinformation about COVID-19 and related political theories. Which one stands out to you?
|
Easily Flip Gordon.
The guy might legit be the dumbest wrestler in today's wrestling scene. Even others who work with him have recently called him out for being the dumbest person they know when it comes to his views on the coronavirus and other conspiracy related stuff. |
Dumber than TJ Perkins?
|
It’s very much tied to the culture in Japan. Specifically the whole fighting spirit thing.
The problem is that culture doesn’t exist here. Or rather, it’s just represented in a different way here. So when two Indy guys do it here, they just look kinda stupid, like Gertner said. |
Quote:
Even AJ Styles dumbess when it comes to being a flat earth supporter doesn't hold a candle to Flip's general dumbness. Chris Jericho might be close although a lot of his dumbness revolves around how he runs his podcast series and him being very open to inviting conspiracy theorists as guests for podcast clicks and views. If you count being an active participant and not just someone who sprouts dumb stuff, then Drake Wuertz is ahead of Flip Gordon by a mile based on some of the serious stuff that's come out against him in recent months. Supposedly he's been a main spreader of conspiracy related stuff that's been going on recently within WWE. Managed to get others to join in either via donating to bogus charity groups or repeating conspiracy style messaging online. |
I don’t have a problem with the late match strike exchange where both guys are exhausted and are just trading slow haymakers because they’ve already hit each other with everything else.
That at least makes sense. |
Quote:
|
Lo-Ki could give Flip a run for his money I bet.
