Lol if it weren't for those fancy belts you'd never know they were a tag team, what with only one shot of them holding the belts, and one tag move that was kinda botched. Those are the only two clips they could put in there other than their stage jump and a hug?

James Diesel 09-14-2011 06:17 PM

And don't forget the generic crowd signs

Xero 09-14-2011 06:18 PM

From: PWInsider: Ric Flair will voice an animated version of himself on the 9/25 season premiere of The Cleveland Show on FOX.

The plot of the episode see, "Cleveland is upset when he finds out that his best friend Peter Griffin came to Stoolbend and did not call him to hang out. In an effort to bond with the guys, Cleveland takes them on a camping trip hosted by guest star Ric Flair."

Lock Jaw 09-14-2011 07:31 PM

Never watched a single episode of The Cleveland Show, but I might have to check that one out.

I wonder if the episode will have Flair do the trademark elbow drop on a coat while everyone else thinks he might have gone full crazy.

So, fuck me if I'm wrong, but this promo feels very Triple H-oriented. Can the COO surface from this bullshit he has to deal with his first couple months?

Either 2 things here
1. A STRONG hint that H is going over dirty.
2. Steer our attention away from Punk for a second, so that we don't see him swoop in for the kill.

Sneaky one there

I wanna hear the crescendo of his voice in a serious dialogue moment. "I was just like you. Then, I GREW UP!!!!!!! and became THE 19 TIME!!!!! WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!. " -insert elbow drop- "WOOOOOOOOO!!!!" -insert knee drop-"WOOOOO!!!!"

SlickyTrickyDamon 09-15-2011 12:55 AM

Odds Flair turns heel and starts yelling at Cleveland Jr saying "Listen to me FATBOY!"?

TNA/Hulk Hogan/Impact *SPOILER*

SPOILER: show

In the final segment of the night, Hulk Hogan came to the ring and he says that he feels like he has had a million pounds lifted off of his shoulders. After some soul searching, he said the Hulkamania run is the best run of all time. Hogan mentions how the first day he got in the business, he broke his leg. Hogan says that he learned respect and the ropes of the business. He talks about how he faced Andre the Giant, and sold out Madison Square Garden many times. At the end of the day, Hulkamania could go on forever.

Hogan said that he had the chance of a lifetime to come to Impact Wrestling with three decades of knowledge and change Impact Wrestling. Hogan mentions that he has been here for almost two years and every moment has been worth it, including watching names like Bobby Roode, James Storm, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Rob Van Dam step up.
Hogan says that unfortunately it is the end of the road for him. Hogan says that he wanted to tell his fans first, even before his wife. When he lost his family and his health, the only thing he didn’t lose was the fans. No matter how bad it got, he knew the fans would still be there. Hogan says that he made the decision that his run is done and says that Bobby Roode, James Storm, and AJ Styles are the stars of the future.

Hogan says that he is inviting everyone to come to Knoxville next week for a formal announcement because that will be the last time that we see him in this ring. Hogan leaves.

“@BretHart: Here's a question for you all: Do you consider wrestlers athletes?” Interesting. I want in on this.

Innovator 09-15-2011 12:24 PM

What Punk was referring to:

Quote:

Moviefone: How do you think WWE and pro wrestling needs to evolve as UFC and MMA grows in popularity?

Triple H: I don't think we have to evolve. It's two totally different things. I think now especially there's this thing like, "oh it's very similar."

I don't see us needing to evolve to what UFC does because quite frankly sometimes the fights are long and boring, guys lying around and sometimes the fights are fast and over in five seconds. I've always thought one of the things about us, if you look at us solely from a sports standpoint, is that we always give you a good show. We're never going to give you a crap game.

I think if anybody needs to evolve, it's them. Give more of an entertainment standpoint. Give more form; they just have fighters who walk in in T-shirts and shorts and just stand there and then they fight and then they win and then they go "thanks, I'd like to thank my sponsors" and then they leave. The whole world was up in arms when Brock was flipping people off and was cussing at the beer company because they didn't give him any money and everyone thought, "oh my god, he's disrespectful," -- the whole world was talking about it. They couldn't wait to see him get beat up. And then he did well, and he beat some guys and then people jump on his bandwagon going "Brock's the greatest." I'm good friends with Floyd Mayweather and Floyd would be the first to tell ya, "I make the most money in boxing and I have the biggest buyers because I have the biggest mouth." He'd be the first guy to tell you that. That's what it's about. Sports is entertainment.

Xero 09-15-2011 12:52 PM

"I don't think we have to evolve."

This is, quite possibly, the most horrifying thing I've heard out of his mouth pertaining to running the company. This is the man that is going to be the head of the company, and he has a mindset of not having to evolve.

Innovator 09-15-2011 01:02 PM

It is a great mindset for the business. It worked out very well for the newspapers.

What's that?

You're totally taking that out of context. He doesn't want wrestling to become more like MMA.

Ultra Mantis 09-15-2011 01:50 PM

How CAN wrestling evolve exactly? What would you like to see happen?
