He's not all that impressive in the ring. His mic skills are non-existent. His face is dumb. He's not physically imposing.
He's not AWFUL or anything, but I guess I was expecting a lot more from all of the hype he was getting. |
Have to completely disagree, on the in ring aspect, but then I've seen a lot of his 30 min epic pre nxt matches. I'm still catching up on nxt, so I haven't seen his recent matches, but the one against Balor at Takeover Rivals is really good.
I like how they keep teasing the GTS. Going to make the first time he hits it televised, a big deal. |
The Balor match was OK, but he doesn't really do much for me either. I really dig Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Tyler Breeze, Adrian Neville, etc. as the main event scene in NXT. Balor and Itami seem forced to me.

now Tyler Breeze is whack. Itami is just a bit out of place in WWE. Unless he finds something that connects with people, he's not going to do to well on the main roster.
