FANTASY SCENARIO:

New Authority figure says that Seth Rollins didn't really earn the Money in the Bank contract, it was handed to him by the old Authority. Therefore it will be on the line in a ladder match against Dolph Ziggler at TLC. Ziggler wins. Later goes on to capture title, but probably not at Wrestlemania.

Gives Ziggler the title, and also solves the problem of Dean Ambrose saying he won't let Rollins ever cash in (which they will likely just drop anyways when they have him actually cash it in).

Has anyone seen the following posters in the last couple of hours:

Jabba
Afterlife
Poit
Narcissus
Nowhere Man
XL

Lock Jaw 11-24-2014 01:16 AM

I distinctly remember seeing Poit viewing this thread while the pre-show was on.

Don't be cheap Wettham

Wehttam 11-24-2014 01:21 AM

he is not worth more than that

el bobbo 11-24-2014 01:21 AM

THE RYBACK got eliminated comically early.

Wehttam 11-24-2014 01:22 AM

but he took one of the most 'over' finishers in the company right now. it could have been worse.

But he was supposed to be the "most valuable free agent."

Wehttam 11-24-2014 01:30 AM

and seth rollins is supposed to be the 'future of the company'.

what is your point?

KIRA 11-24-2014 01:32 AM

I pictured him as a rather average sized guy

MIZantine Empire 11-24-2014 01:50 AM

My dickhead friend spoiled the sting debut.. but to show how huge that was, I still got goosebumps when he walked out/hit the death drop. Mz squared gets the tag titles, Dolph survives, sting debuts, and my cowboys win.. pretty damn good sunday

Tom Guycott 11-24-2014 02:07 AM

Thank goodness for the replay.

This thread didn't do the Wyatt/Ambrose matchup justice.

Seriously, even though it may be "spoiled", I still want to see the Stinger actually IN WWE for myself. That match is about to start now.

Tom Guycott 11-24-2014 02:11 AM

But I will say I miss the old school Survivor Series being almost nothing but team matches. Wouldn't have had to pull that "let's swap people out" from Team Cena if they had more than one 5v5. And some other underutilized people could have gotten some PPV face and ring time.

I was working, eating dinner with a friend, and tending to a kitty while watching the PPV. I didn't really have time to post in the thread.

#1-norm-fan 11-24-2014 02:42 AM

That was one of the most well booked PPV main events I can remember. Fuck, that was awesome. Hope this wasn't just WWE going all out to get people to keep the network and they can actually build off of it.

#1-norm-fan 11-24-2014 02:43 AM

Ryback, though. Goddammit.

Tom Guycott 11-24-2014 03:07 AM

Eh. That was a pretty generic, almose WCW jobber-esque entrance theme...

BUT WHO CARES... STING MOTHERFUCKER, STING!!!

*LOUD BANGING OF GAVEL* CAN WE PLEASE HAVE SOME DECORUM HERE?! :shifty:

Also, because I'm fucking stupid and didn't realize he'd died in 2007, the first night Barrett used his new name and gimmick, I got all excited thinking that after the ring announcer had said Bad News... all I could think was Bad News Brown...ugh, so stupid...:n::nono:

I thought the theme was ok. Not as great as the WCW crow theme but had crow-esque elements, sounded more like something out of the original movie.

Still it gave me the chills and if I was in a dark alley or room and heard that suddenly, I'd crap myself..

Sting could have come out to fingernails being scratched down a blackboard and I wouldn't care, it's just music. But, IT'S FUCKING STING!!!!!! Woooooooo!!!!!

MoFo 11-24-2014 05:55 AM

Triple H played his part so brilliantly

Loved everything apart from Adam Rose

If I was being a moany smark Id say they could of made it a bit less apparent it was Sting by blacking out the lights and not showing his face on the vid

MoFo 11-24-2014 05:55 AM

Reminded me of the end of Judgment Day 2000

Sure I rate him, he's amongst my all time faves. But I never considered him "the people's champion". If anything Sting has always been the true "peoples champion" but in recent times probably Daniel Bryan or dare I say it Cena.

But my point is we have Sting making his debut against Triple H. That alone will ensure this will be the most hyped and possibly watched WM of all time......and I have a ticket!

lmao

That really wasn't that bad a post, I see what he's getting at. This is actually a good new poster guys, don't drive him away by pulling him up on petty opunions you might not agree with.

As King of The Forum, that is a demand. I'd rather one of this new poster, than your typical DXArmy3Life sock that pops up all the time.

I didn't think it was a "bad post." I see what he's getting at too, I just laughed at the bolded part, as I thought it was funny. If I'm not allowed to disagree with his opinion once, after his few that I have already agreed with, I may have to superkick you in the groin.

I was asleep. It was the middle of the night after all.

Just got caught up. A friend spoiled Sting on Facebook but I still marked hard. Pretty perfect handling of his intro. HHH sold that first shot like a shotgun blast, which was kinda funny. I did find myself thinking "Dude, you could have at least dyed your hair".

The end of this show is evidence that they can pull it out of the bag when they need to. Great start to the Road to Mania.

Better than through a barbershop window. I can deal with that.

I thought you were lyao in a condensating fashion though, I'm sorry reading it wrong. It's just, while I'm all for attacking poor trolls and socks, and getting rid of them, I'm also keen for protecting and keeping the good new posters. You as well as anybody should know that

Tazz Dan 11-24-2014 09:15 AM

Actually, I am legit going to get 'I'm a Tazz Dan Guy' t-shirts printed and sent to everybody who I've taken under my wing over the years.

Yourself
Poit
Heisenberg
Executioner
KYR

I know there's more, but it's just passed midnight here and I'm tired. Please feel free to message me via positive rep, PM me or post on my profile page if you believe you're a Tazz Dan guy. Or reply to this post, but I may miss it. I'll try and have these out before Christmas! You'll obviously need to provide me with an address, but I promise not to stalk or use the information for anything bad.

XL 11-24-2014 09:21 AM

<-- Pretty sure I'm a Tazz Dan Guy

Tazz Dan 11-24-2014 09:54 AM

Yes. Yes you are. Also, if you contact me via PM like drave just did (easily the best way to contact) give me your sizing info too. K thanks.

CSL 11-24-2014 10:31 AM

the death drop looked fucking great

CSL 11-24-2014 10:32 AM

don't think this is the start of anything for Dolph, he was just the most convenient/sensible guy to put in that spot

Don't kill our hopes and dreams.

Sadly I agree. Ryback and Rowan are too big to strike a chord as underdogs and besides that them selling for several minutes while the Sting stuff went down would have seemed odd. Big Show was turning, and Cena needed to be taken out earlier than expected to sell the "shock" of Big Show's 500th heel turn. That really only left Dolph.

I wouldn't have complained about Ryback being the man to score the winning pin though given that he has yet to have a major WWE moment other than a spontaneous title shot against Punk.

But the Ziggler bit worked well, whether there's a push for him I don't know. But Ziggler imo has never been "far away" from the title or main event picture so it's not like he's been promoted or elevated somewhat if say it had been Big E Langston or Kofi Kingston neither of him I expect to see hold the title.

XL 11-24-2014 02:01 PM

Where would they push Ziggler to? We're not far off the road to Mania, Reigns returning, Lesnar coming back, etc. there's no place for Ziggler at the top of the card for now. It might have even been better for Show to knock out Dolph when he turned. Show vs. Dolph could have been something.

Helmsphere 11-24-2014 02:15 PM

I haven't watched the show yet, but watched a video of Sting's debut, and I have to ask myself. What did Rollins take that laid him out for 6 minutes to take a pinfall?
