Neither have I really, sans a couple segments. Refreshing.

Yeah I've only watched about 3 or 4 Raw's this year I think. Only one since Wrestlemania. It's genuinely better just reading the results rather than sitting through 3 hours of constant ads and replays, and then a few boring matches and very little storyline progression.

Not sure if I'm gonna watch Extreme Rules yet. Might just call it a day with wrestling really. I basically have already except for coming here out of habit is keeping me in touch. Without TPWW I'd probably have stopped watching ages ago.

Shisen Kopf 05-15-2013 07:51 AM

Exactly how I feel. Haven't watched a raw or taped a Smackdown since WM. just seems so damn boring lately. Now if John Cena were to turn heel and form the New Two Man Powertrip with THE RYBACK, I'd totally watch that. But they won't b/c WWE cares more about what sick kids want than super long time fans such as myself.

Corporate CockSnogger 05-15-2013 07:58 AM

Genuinely don't think any particular storyline would get me back into it properly. Just not all that interested in wrestling at all anymore. Like I said, if this forum were a forum for anything else I probably wouldn't even be thinking of wrestling anymore. But I'm just so used to opening up TPWW and end up checking results. I'm guessing that'll stop soon though considering how shit TPWW is as of late.

Tommy Gunn 05-15-2013 08:42 AM

I watch Raw, Main Event and SD every week, I burned out on wrestling 2003-2006 but since coming back to it, it's like my weekly soap opera man!

It helps that there's plenty of new talent as well.

This Black Moth Super Rainbow video stars Goldust as "The Pink One."

Game of Thrones has more storyline progressing with Theon than RAW has had in a while.

Adam West wouldn't quit

I can only stand to watch the first hour of RAW and I'm done. Fuck it, think I'm done with it until someone gets put through a flaming table or they dig up dead wrestlers to compete.

Cool King 05-15-2013 10:05 AM

I've constantly watched Raw since 1999. Every week, I've sat down and watched it. Ever since being broadcast live to the UK around 2004, I've watched Raw live. I've also watched SmackDown every week since around 2006.

I did used to watch Superstars every Saturday morning but I stopped watching about two months ago, as the last one I watched was around 53 minutes of recaps and adverts and 7 minutes of wrestling. The rest were pretty much the same.

I don't think I can stop watching Raw as it's pretty much a part of my life now, as bad as that sounds, seeing as I've been doing it every week for pretty much 15 years. It's just second nature to me now. I don't think "Oh, it's Monday, I think I'll watch Raw tonight". It's more "Monday today. Got to watch Raw tonight." :-\

I don't think I'll ever stop watching WWE TV. I've watched some shit/stupid stuff over the years, but I still continue to watch. If one thing doesn't interest me, for example, the WWE Title picture, then I'll still manage to find something else to interest me, for example, a certain fued, a title or even a single wrestler such as Cesaro or even Hawkins. There's just always something that catches my interest on WWE TV. I don't think I've ever sat through a WWE show and thought it was all shit from top to bottom. :-\

But Theon has been in the exact same position for 5 episodes!

Ah. I see.

James Steele 05-15-2013 11:06 AM

None of you will quit watching. Shut up.

Cool King 05-15-2013 11:22 AM

I pretty sure I'll be watching wrestling until the day I die.

JimmyMess 05-15-2013 11:27 AM

I've been casually following the DDP thing recently with Jake and now Scott.... and I'm curious.... does DDP drink socially or casually? I mean he was never one of the guys with substance abuse issues back in the day (that I can recall), but I imagine he was just a regular beer drinking guy.

Just curious.

Exactly this for me, usually just read the results cause I travel a lot. Have been home for a few months and was genuinely excited about watching mania and a decent amount of raws, but I have found them so boring. Variations of the same match every week, nothing surprising and lots of ads and replays. Not excited about anything that is happening really, so maybe I should just accept that it really isn't for me anymore, but can't help holding out hope that something will happen to get my interest, cause I have such good memories about watching it.

The Condor 05-15-2013 11:45 AM

A lot of my friends that I grew up watching wrestling with have actually moved on in a sense, and so have I, recording WWE programming and fwd through the crap to find the "interesting stuff." However, they have moved on to ROH to get their fill of wrestling, which I have neither the time nor interest to pursue.

Not sure what's more amusing about this - Hemme failing to do her one simple job right, or Aries acting like the heel throughout and in everything he does. The guy needs to be recognised for his dedication to the gimmick, unless he's actually just a prick.

It's retarded that this is a controversy.

mike adamle 05-15-2013 06:25 PM

Just started watching the brawl for all from wrestlemania XV. They're showing the judges, and man, I really wish I'd skipped that part. I didn't remember how terrible Gorilla Monsoon looked, really puts a damper on the match itself for me :'(

Exactly. What he did was neither intimidating or inappropriate.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-16-2013 03:45 AM

It was considered that to Hemme and that's all that matters.
