Not if he pulled a Smackdwn booking with their relationship assuming the stuff about Carmella is true and he dated Becky first. Right when things were starting to look bright for Becky, she gets quickly tossed to the side again.

According to the Observer and Post Wrestling, a possible reason why WWE now has longer over-runs for PPVs is due to them using a new metric to pad Network numbers in fiscal reports.

Supposedly they now track things based on minutes watched instead of views or something else so they can artificially boost the amount of interest the Network has as a service. Making PPVs longer lets them boost minutes watched per subscriber per month for reports.

GD 05-08-2018 01:30 AM

That is simply atrocious. Reducing the quality of your product for numbers :nono:

I guess you have to do shit like this if you're a publicly traded company

So if you don't watch the events anyway?

Triple H then Pedigrees Paul London as Brian Kendrick has to stand around like a fucking goof as Triple H just plays around with his buddy. Then Kendrick also got a Pedigree and Raw fucking sucked.

That was like a decade ago. I doubt Triple H has changed as much as people say he has. I think he just signs those sorts of guys now so that he can get over as the savior of wrestling, just like he tried to get over as a heel by working the internet fans too. They used to make him so insecure, haha.

Seeing Lance Cade here made me think of another random moment. I remember in 2008, they'd sent Kendrick back to SmackDown to give him at least something resembling a push.

London on the other hand was just left alone on Raw as an enhancement guy. And I seem to remember Jericho (managed by Cade) squashing London and then cutting a promo on him.

And since this was right during the HBK feud, I was thinking maybe London and HBK would team up to face Jericho and Cade.

Silly me.

Evil Vito 05-08-2018 09:32 AM

Apparently London and Kendrick haven't even spoken in years. Basically not since Kendrick went back to WWE.

Sad :( they were best buds. That being said we've all had friends we've drifted apart from for one reason or another.

Supposedly Nikki didn't break up with Cena because she finally got fed up with his marriage and children non-commitment but instead because she found out he was cheating on her.

May or may not have involved Becky since she broke up with her own boyfriend around the same time Nikki's breakup went public and she upposedly has been hanging out with Cena.

If its true, that would be the 2nd relationship in a row for Cena that ended with him getting busted for cheating.

The news of Becky being single is brought to you by the sound of thousands of new crossfit memberships

I didn't know Becky and her boyfriend broke up.

I also didn't know that Carmella and Big Cass broke up.

By the looks of it, if the rumours are true, Cena seems to sit and wait for relationships to end before pouncing on the newly single female.

Longer matches doesn't necessarily mean worse matches.

Danny Electric 05-08-2018 02:31 PM

If they had any sense they'd have Ambrose team up with Reigns in a tag match and then have Reigns turn on Ambrose but their trying once again to get him over with the crowd with this Jinder feud.

I've noticed with the recent T-Shirts that the WWE's graphic design department seem to be going through a phase of making logos for the wrestlers that mostly just consist of their initials.

Mr. Nerfect 05-08-2018 03:40 PM

They’re pretty awful logos.

Is that Triple H's logo?

Cause it looks like an H with a huge nose.

Cool King 05-08-2018 03:42 PM

It's Jeff Hardy's.

Sixx 05-08-2018 03:44 PM

Weird.

I wouldn't say they're "awful" as such.

They're "contemporary" but at the same time, not very creative.

Cool King 05-08-2018 03:47 PM

The most creative one there is probably Jeff Hardy's.

Followed by Bobby Lashley's, The IIconics', Carmella's and then Samoa Joe's.

Sixx 05-08-2018 03:47 PM

I can only recognize Cena's. Whose are the others?

Sixx 05-08-2018 03:48 PM

Oh, haha. That's Carmella, not Cena. Fair enough.

I get what you're saying, but I'll play:

"L3"

Samoa Joe's looks like it is missing "W" at the end.

My favorite thing about Carmella's is that is you rotate it you can make "C-U-N". If only her hands were positioned slightly differently...

Silhouettes in the letters of the word they can't spell. Nothing says "Women's Revolution" like the shapely outline of a dumb sex object with lesbian undertones.

Jeff's got a warped green beard because they need to get a "J" in there. Is a green "J" supposed to represent something?

To be fair, rumors suggest that they've been spending a lot of time together.

Jew.

Nah, let's just go with mine and give this logo to Triple H.

Had to google her. All I can say is she has a really dumb face.

Vastardikai 05-08-2018 05:38 PM

Carmella is money and Cena is broke.

Fignuts 05-08-2018 05:39 PM

They should just let asuka design everyone's shirts. She's a far better graphic designer than whoever the WWE is employing.

I was ribbing on Carmella's tag line and Cena's financial situation.

I know. I was ribbing on Mella definitely not being money.

Nia is bullying people on Twitter who are pointing out that she hurt Alexa Bliss:

"Haha!! If you haven’t heard. Alexa is perfectly fine. She couldn’t beat me in the ring, so she blamed it on a fake injury. Trust me, she is perfectly fine. She’s scheduled to be on tour, so you and all your troll friends can come worship your coward goddess."

Laughing at fans, downplaying your responsibility for hurting others, bravado, talking trash, calling people "troll" and "coward." I dunno -- Nia sounds a bit like a bully. And if Alexa is such a coward, what do you call a woman who fights someone half her size?

I don't have an issue with longer matches. They (mostly) add to the storytelling aspect of the show. That being said, I am not keen to see 2-3 segment television matches featuring No Way Jose, Corbin, or even Jinder Mahal.

As far as longer dual-branded PPVs are concerned, I'd prefer more matches on the pre-show as opposed to the discussion panel. It could give the cruiserweights, tag team specialists, and mid to lower mid-carders some much needed exposure. And while we are at it, why not add some backstage skits like the good old days? Have the talent show some personality.

It's still real to Noid, damn it.

Mr. Nerfect 05-09-2018 01:16 AM

Nia Jax is supposed to be anti-bullying. It's a bullshit gimmick, but she's so fucking shit at it.

Whose idea was it to pick a woman who looks like she used to steal even the teachers' lunch money to go with that gimmick?

Fignuts 05-09-2018 01:26 AM

Yeah, kind of hard to sympathize with someone who looks like they could throw their "bully" into the sun.
